Bonne Bouchee

I was approached by a patisserie chef to create branding for the launch of Bonne Bouchee. Selling croissants, cakes, etc., wholesale and making luxury bespoke cakes (and being a specialist chocolatier) the branding needed to encompass the different services the business will offer. Bonne Bouchee’s product style is technical yet playful and experimental with flavour. First I pulled together a mood board to show my initial thoughts and ideas:

Reasons for the direction and decisions for the final assets for Bonne Bouchee’s branding suite

  • Set font then hand drawn - bold and impactful but captures hand crafted element of business

  • Colour choice - often uses clashing playful flavours - represented through colours here.

  • 2 Business cards - one with just branding to sit back with decorative cake etc and one with an llustrated front - double usage as a business card or thank you note

  • fun illustration to incorporate the different products & ingredients Bonne Bouchee uses.  - Playful and contemporary style to sit back with style of product.
